cardboard construction techniques display

Join Stefanie Nguyen from St. Gabriel's Makerspace for a workshop that focuses on different cardboard construction techniques (gussets, braces, flanges, etc.) and learning how to use various cardboard cutting tools with students. Leave with a display for your classroom!! Food and giveaways provided.

Maker Connor Dillon will lead tours to The Foundry Makerspace. Open to all students, The Foundry provides tools such as a laser cutter, 3D printers, VR, sewing machines, mills, and other video and audio equipment. Tours will start at 10am, noon, and 2pm. Meet at the UTeach Workroom and Connor will walk with you to The Foundry in the Fine Arts Library.

Join Maker Fellows Maisha Rumman and Krystal Rankhorn along with Master Teacher Kelli Allen to explore a combination of blended learning and making. This workshop will use fliphunts, a video-based scavenger hunt for the Flipgrid environment, to differentiate maker activities for students.
